Chia
In
the outskirtses of Chia in the 1933 a sea storm uncovered the rests
of the ancient punic city of Bithia.
In the VIII century were a port of call, with great importance in
the routes for the trade; before towards the West for the
Fenice, then for Cartagine and Roman. There were finds elements
fortifies , a sacred area on island "de suCordolinu" with an altar
and the cinerarie urns that they make to think next the
presence of a Tophet. Beside the Spanish tower were lived by Punic
and Romans.
Chia is away around
10km from the town of Pula, where situated is our B&B, and it
possesses one of the most beautiful beaches of the whole island. The
Beaches of Chia have various names according to the zone:
- Beach of the Colony ;
- Beach of the Dead;
- Port Bell;
- Beach "Su Giudeu";
- Beach "Cove Onion";
